Love Always Finds a Way

Although I wanted this to be a stand-alone post, I believe I could also relate it to this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense. Everyday, we usually see a couple together, seemingly in love, but never get to see beyond that, whether their relationship will work out or unfortunately be torn apart. We delve into the possibility that in the future we can, and will, obtain the same thing. Despite the fact, this picture holds the promise we all wait for, that I wish for: to find that special someone who will love you always, and vice versa. However, love does not present itself as an opportunity; we have to work for it, but just know, that we all deserve someone who we are genuinely in love with. Till then, we can only hope for the future.

Since I rarely get to work with real people in my photography, I decided to use an illustration, and what better characters to use than George and Meg from Paperman! Truly, the actual short was simply beautiful and marvelous. Though, the inspiration for the image above was taken from the more talented Morgan at her tumblr site sillywhims. Nonetheless, in regards to the photo, all I’m trying to say is love always finds a way. Hopefully, everybody has found, or will find, that one person who means the most to them. As always, if you do see yourself in one of these pictures (not sure if George and Meg will) and would like to have it taken down for personal reasons, please comment and I’ll be happy to do so.

  1. I feel troubled and the photo also troubles me. You write “someone who will love you always… ” oops where is the “I will learn how to love someone, an other”… The woman in the picture looks expectant, do you see why I am troubled?

    • I understand. What I forgot to mention is how we hope in the near future we will find that person who we can share our love and affection for each other, together. Love is not one-way, but in response to your last statement, I feel this is why I must emphasize the “future tense,” as the reason for why the woman looks expectant is because, although she may love the man, is it the same for him? We can only wait and see…

  2. Thank you for visiting my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to stop by. May your day be filled with joy and peace.
