Weekly photo challenge: patterns

Our Own Pattern

While the placement of the black and white keys on a piano do form a pattern, the music one plays on this instrument also creates a language of Patterns. Indeed, there is structure and organization behind the tunes one plays on a piano. However, music is an art form as well; it helps us experience our uniqueness, our feelings about life. No one ever plays exactly the same way. Everyone has their own distinct style, their own Pattern of playing, and through music, we are encouraged to connect, communicate, and create with our world and its people. Through the combination of rhythm, melody, harmony, and our own touch, we begin to design our own Pattern, be it in music or in life. As always, if you do see yourself in one of these pictures and would like to have it taken down for personal reasons, please comment and I’ll be happy to do so.
