When two people, in this case, companions, are enjoying time spent together, but are not speaking to each other, you can say that they are sitting in Companionable silence. In truth, it’s that silence that seems to bring a sense of peace and tranquility. Though, one does not necessarily need to be in a relationship to have such concepts. Having a companionship, or having someone you know and like with you, rather than being on your own, makes even the quietest moments loud and memorable.ย When words fail, action speaks. When action fails, eyes speak. When eyes fail, tears speak. And when everything else fails, silence speaks. ~ kushandwizdom.
