Jason & Coreen

Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love isn’t selfish or quick tempered. It doesn’t keep a record of wrongs that others do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails! ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. While a wedding is quite pretty, a marriage is even more beautiful. It symbolizes not only the appearance of love, but also the attitude and emotions that come with it. But what is love really? Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning. ~ Paulo Coelho. It is not something that can be simply expressed in words, but rather, through actions. While this may be true for many aspects, such as showing gratitude, care, or kindness, the thing with love is that it encompasses all of these elements, indicating its difficulty. If love was truly simple, why do we all struggle to strive towards it, to find that right person? It is said that there are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. Quite simply, love is something that nothing can bring, but when you are able to find that someone who can, then perhaps you have found true happiness. Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring. ~ Oscar Wilde. 1. Hello Jean, I agree with what you say. I must also add that, to truly ever understand Love, you must learn to love yourself so that you will understand the meaning, and from that, to love another, a different kind of Love develops. From this, you will know of two Loves, the Love you have for yourself and the Love you have for another.
