Weekly photo challenge: horizons

Broadening Our Horizons

Indeed the horizon can be seen as the median between sky and earth. However, our Horizons are also known as the limits of what we want to do or what we are interested in. Yet, the only way to do that is by embracing other cultures and genres, actually expanding our Horizons, rather than narrowing any existing ones. Many usually feel intimidated when around those who may be more talented in academics, athletics, literature, media, or any other skills. In spite of all that, I like to think that being with these types of people is the best way to learn as you become challenged to perhaps put yourself at the same level with them. If you do see yourself in one of these pictures and would like to have it taken down for personal reasons, please comment and I’ll be happy to do so.

  9. I do like the way you went ’round the corner on this one – original thinking instead of just going along with the normal interpretation. Goodonyer!
