Weekly photo challenge: spring

For All the Children

Spring is that time of year, that beginning, of planning and projects. It is where people become more active and take action with their lives. Yet, Spring can also be thought of as that blooming of a youth into an adolescent, from innocence to knowledge, where they reach out for something more, something higher up in the clouds that’s worth their attention, whether that be due to the season or the general atmosphere. And all the while, the things which the child loves remain in the domain of the heart until old age. The most beautiful thing in life is that our souls remaining over the places where we once enjoyed ourselves. ~ Khalil Gibran. In essence, this point in time, where the weather becomes warmer and plants come to grow again, is their moment of rebirth and transition, and it’s a chance to start anew, but not necessarily to forget the past. If you do find yourself in one of these pictures and would like to have it taken down for personal reasons, please comment and I’ll be happy to do so. P.S. No matter what anyone says, hands will always be the most difficult body part to illustrate.

  2. Me too! I love this… You certainly are a gifted Soul. Creative artist; wisdom, understanding, and appreciation seem to be beyond your years. Love the Gibran quote, too. I hadn’t read that one, before now.

    • Hello Victoria. I greatly appreciate your kind words and comments, and I thank you for not only viewing the photograph/illustration, but for also taking the time to read my thoughts. It’s always comforting to know that, despite not being in the position to suggest how one should live their life, that people will still sometimes find it thoughtful and informative. Thanks once again!
