Looking for Contrasts

So who’s the odd one out? 😉 Sometimes, searching for individuals who truly stand out from the crowd isn’t as easy as the above photograph suggests. With today’s society and all its attempts to bring what it deems as the norm into our lives, those people that Contrast from others, be it idealists, pacifists, homosexuals, the underdogs, or even leaders that demand change, may meet some difficulty in being themselves. Gradually, it seems as if people in general are actually becoming as rigid as LEGO minifigures, shaping their attributes and appearances from an unwritten guideline. Yet, our world is changing, and that includes both our modern culture and the growing definition of what it means to be a “black sheep.” It’s no longer a term for describing something odd or disreputable, but rather something unique that will be a foundation for a new future. Hence, look for those Contrasts that add more color to your painting, words to your novel, relationships to your lifetime, and craziness to this planet. If you do find yourself in one of these pictures and would like to have it taken down for personal reasons, please comment and I’ll be happy to do so.
